When enabled by proper files, the characteristics of the sound card (like model, manufacturer, number of channels) are completely available to computers, and all its features are made accessible. Usually, Windows operating systems apply a generic audio driver that allows computers to recognize the sound card component and make use of its basic functions. Browse to the folder where you extracted the driver and click Ok About Sound Card Drivers:

If you already have the driver installed and want to update to a newer version got to "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"ħ. Choose to select the location of the new driver manually and browse to the folder where you extracted the driverĥ. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver SoftwareĤ. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel), or right click on Start Menu for Windows 10 and select Device Managerģ. In order to manually update your driver, follow the steps below (the next steps):ġ. Take into consideration that is not recommended to install the driver on Operating Systems other than stated ones.

If the driver is already installed on your system, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix various issues, add new functions, or just upgrade to the available version. Maybe someone knows how i can avoid that problem, or if i can change the rear port, so that the headphone gets recognized as headphone. The package provides the installation files for Gigabyte Realtek High Definition Audio Driver version. So shouldn't i use that anyway for the Headphones?

The rear panel even have an Audio Amplifier, which is able to drive 600Ω loads. I didn't find any settings for Realtek, where i can change the Speaker to Headphone. But If do that, Realtek does recognize the Headphone for Speaker and i don't get that pop-up what i have plugged in. It looks like the Problem is gone, when I put the headphone in the rear jack. It's like the Headphones get always turned off whenever i turn off everything with sound and turn on whenever i open something with sound. If I don't play music for a while, or if I close everything with sound and I start listening again to music I get a short weird noise before the music starts. Sadly I have a problem if I use them with my PC.
